I know that most couples find out the hard way that the wedding
industry is just that – an business. What seems to be ideal turns out to
be restrictive and limited? Weddings are about romance, families, and
thoughts the future… As a wedding planner,
it is pleasant to deal with the “Wedding Industry” for the couple and make sure
that only the best, honest and most gifted suppliers are used
- Don’t
book a venue, or any other supplier at a wedding. Venues and suppliers
spend a fortune looking at their best at a wedding; you need to find out
the reality first. Wedding

in to what they are saying, but make your decision in the following days
after a little more investigate has been done
- Don’t
book a venue or supplier without bearing in mind ALL of the fine print
- Don’t
be bullied into the “our number one supplier is… ” issue. If you

Well at a distance from calling me… do take a step back and
write down exactly what it is you want from the day – what is imperative to you
as a couple, not everyone else. Too many couples try to have the dream
wedding of their friends or kin. Do insist on having what you want, and
not what you are told you can have. We don’t do flexible here at Creative
Wedding Planning!
